God's will or my agenda?

This could be entitled: Dreaming big dreams or selfish ambition?

I've always believed that people deserve encouragement. I also believe that kids will generally rise or fall to levels of expectation presented by those closest to them.

I believe that we should encourage everyone around us to dream big dreams and place their hope and trust in a great big God who loves them.

I believe in the Sovereignty of God and that "He knows the path I take...."

I believe that God's Will is that 'none should perish' but all should come to repentance and obtain eternal life. I believe that many do not find God's Will for their life. I believe that many aren't presented with any hope that God's Will is possible for their life.

I believe that God wants each and every one of His children to live their life to the fullest and exercise each God-given talent they possess.

I believe that many of God's children default on their great dreams and opportunities because of discouragement or lack of encouragement or lack of an open door.

I believe that many of God's children can't find the door of opportunity.

I believe that many of God's children don't have enough hope to be able to dream.

I believe that some Christians' personal ambition precludes them from being very useful to others...and that makes their ambition in conflict with God's Will for those whom they run right past or over.

I believe that my personal agenda and ambition must center on being a conduit of hope and encouragement - helping kids dream and find the door handles.

I believe the words, "You can do it!" are more powerful in bringing people to success than the words, "You better watch out."

I believe that the world is full of 'reality' and people don't need Christians to help them discover the dangers of it.

I believe that God is calling us to live as though it's a world in which everything is possible...and then after we die we get to go to heaven.

I believe that God wants us to LIVE until we die.

I believe that while bad things happen to good people, God can help us handle the bad and enjoy the good.

I believe just the honest lease of the term Christian requires active service to the world around us...I didn't say 'church' I said "to the world around us." HE gave Himself for the church; we are to give ourselves to the poor, the disenfranchised, the outcast, the vile, the ugly, the shamed and shameful, the lost and hopeless, and the children. We are to give them hope and encouragement and life and dignity and joy.

I believe that a lot of people exist a long time and never really live. I believe that many of those can actually tell you the names of the sum-total of people they have helped in their lifetime and will be quick to remind you of the time, decades ago, they were involved positively in someone's life.

I believe that He came that we might have life and that more abundantly! (John 10:10 N.I.V.)
