"Yes, there is evil, but God is watching" 

In Job 24 we find Job stating his observations of the successes and triumphs of the ungodly folks he knows. By the time he gets to the 23rd verse Job comes to a divine revelation of frightening dimensions...God is watching! 

There is ultimate equity! There will be justice. Yes, they seemed to get away with "driving off the orphan's donkey" and stealing and thumbing their nose at honest, hard-working, decent people. But, "God is not mocked, whatsoever a man sows, that shall he also reap." Gal 6

This is far more serious than "you better watch out, you better not cry, you better not pout I'm telling you why..." It is GOD who's coming to town. HE sees you when you're sleeping, He knows when you're awake, He knows if you've been bad or good.

So, BE GOOD...for goodness sake!!

Why is it so difficult for some folks to understand? GOD is watching! Hey gal, if you don't love your husband enough to be faithful to him...know this, GOD is watching. So, dude, you think you can have an affair - just because you can...GOD is watching. Big executive, you have the ability to create an unbelievable compensation package for yourself while you are forcing lay-offs and cut-backs on a faceless, unknown labor force...GOD is watching. Politician, you twist statements and perceptions, you pork-barrel and embargo. You oppress the poor and line the pockets of the rich while espousing some policy "language" you don't even understand yourself...GOD is watching!

Just because it seems we "get away" with something doesn't mean a thing. Even if the church doesn't know about it, or possibly the majority of those in church wouldn't condemn you for it...GOD is watching.

The Apostle Paul said, "knowing the terror of the Lord, we must compel men..." and "it is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of a living God..."

We spend so much time talking about the love at the right hand of God that we forget the left hand of God. "Whom He loves He chastens..." There are those who don't like these verses. I didn't write them.

God "is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him" but He will knock you flat off your feet if you oppress, transgress, cheat, or even offend one of the least of these.

And dear friend, if you are one of those who have been the victim of evil...take comfort, have hope, be of good cheer...GOD is watching. He will take care of you and He will CERTAINLY take care of those who have hurt you!
