"Love is..."

          I Corinthians 13

It doesn't matter how intelligent we are. It doesn't matter how spiritual we are. It doesn't matter how benevolent we are. What matters is love.

Do we love? Whom do we love? Why do we love? How do we love?

Let's look at the 'how' first.

(4.) Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.

(5.) Love is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.

(6.) Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.

(7.) Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

If we can get a handle on the 'how' then the 'who' and 'why' will fall into place.

"Little children, love one another and thus fulfill the law of Christ."
